The girlie and I are doing a quickie trip in just over 24 hours. Must go now as the flight leaves at Oh-my-God-thirty.

Will check in after our triumphal return.

UPDATE: He was in terrific form--voice lovely and full, manner courteous and gentle. The venue, the Rio in Santa Cruz, was friendly, if a bit confusing at show time. We noodled around town all day, noshing and window shopping and relaxing at several libraries (Hi Live Oak! We love you!). Fun trip.
